How does Google Make Their Money, and How can You Make money On Google?

What Is PPC (Google Ads)

PPC stands for Pay-Per-click. This is a digital advertising model where advertisers pay Google to show their ads online in order to get clicks. And they would pay when someone clicks on their ads. Google Ads is a tool that runs on this model for most campaigns like (Search Ads, Display Ads, Shopping Ads, and YouTube Ads).

Google Ads: This is Google’s online advertising platform, where businesses pay to show ads to people searching on Google or browsing websites, apps, and YouTube.

How Does it work?

Advertiser Set bids– You start off by deciding on how much your will to pay for a click on your ads either manually or automatically
Auction Happens– Once someone search for that same keyword you had put your bid for, Google will start compare all the ads that are ranking for the same keyword to determine what ads is best suited for that keyword.
Ads Ranks determines placement – Your ad position will depend + Quality Score (relevance, expected click through rate, and landing page experience)

Note: If someone clicks on your ads you will pay and if they don’t you will not pay.

The best part of this, is that you only pay when someone clicks on your ads. and you’re basically in control of your own ads making it easy for you to manage how much money you get to spend on your ads. It also gives you control over where you would like your ads to target, whether that’s specific audience, keywords, Location, age, interest, and even time of day, ensuring that your ads are shown to people who are most likely to be interested or convert.

And Most importantly, you can also keep testing your ads to see what works and eliminate what doesn’t work.

This an example of how YouTube ads are usually displayed, they appear as videos, banners, or search results, and they are shown based on Google’s auction system to match viewers, interests.

Search ads are text based ads that appear at the top to bottom of Google search results when someone searches for related keywords, They might look similar to regular result but are usually marked with a small “Ad, sponsored” label

Shopping ads are product based ads that appear on Google search result and the shopping tab. they show an image of the product, it’s price, store name, and sometimes reviews, making it easy for shopper to compare options.

First we will talk to see if you will to move forward with the service, then I will have you sign a written agreement. This written agreement will go over all the important details of the work, so that there are no confusions later. After That’s out of the way, I will start off by asking a few question about your business to better understand your company, and how it operates. From there will analyze your audience to better understand what kind of people your business is trying to target. and do my best to come up with a way to make an ad that would capture their attention. And a landing page that would persuade them to take whatever action.

Then I will plugin it all into Google ads, I will walk you through the set up summarizing it to that you have a better understanding of what’s going on. Before launching it I will ask for your approval.

Be advised that the ad Might not start running right a way, which is ok. it’s only an issue if the account is not being monitored regularly. or if the the person running it doesn’t know how to fix whatever situation they might run into.

I will be monitoring the ads regularly everyday, as much as necessary. Once they’ve brought in some results, I will use those result to optimize them according to the data I’ve gotten, to only stick with what is working.

After that I will also make sure that I keep you updated about any changes I might end up making. But before I make any changes, I will first tell you how the ads are doing, and how I’m going to optimize them for better results.
